Tape and strapping are the cheapest items in any pack and the ones whose failure costs the most — a carton that opens in transit or a bundle that breaks on a pallet undoes everything else you spent money on. Both are specified by simple numbers: micron and width for tape, width and grade for strapping.

Tape seals, strapping secures. They are not alternatives. Tape closes the flaps so nothing falls out; strapping holds the box together under compression and stops it bursting when stacked or dropped. Heavy cartons need both, and using more tape instead of strapping is the most common false economy in despatch.

Under-specified tape is the single most common packaging failure in Delhi NCR. - Tape micron — the biggest factor on tape; you are buying film thickness and adhesive quantity
- Tape width and roll length — longer rolls are more economical per metre and change less often on the line
- Printed tape — branding adds cost and a minimum order quantity
- Strapping width and grade — machine grades cost more than manual and run faster
- Strapping roll length and core size — must match your machine, so this is a compatibility issue as well as a price one
- Quantity — the main lever on both; these are bought by the carton or the box of rolls, and repeat supply rates are well below single-roll pricing
- Polymer input costs — both track these through the year, so rates are quoted current

What do I need to apply strapping?
A tensioner to pull the strap tight and a means of joining it - metal seals with a sealer tool, a friction-weld tool, or a semi-automatic or automatic strapping machine for volume. A strap is only as strong as its joint, so the tool matters as much as the strap. Hand-tying strapping does not hold and defeats the purpose entirely.
Do you supply printed tape with our branding?
Yes. Printed BOPP tape is one of the cheapest forms of pack branding, since it replaces a tape you are buying anyway. It carries a minimum order quantity and a lead time set by the converter, so it suits regular repeat despatch volumes rather than a one-off requirement. Plain kraft or transparent tape remains the option for small or irregular volumes.
Do you supply in bulk with repeat delivery?
Yes, and consumables are best bought that way - tape, strapping, bubble and cartons consolidated onto one monthly delivery costs materially less than ad-hoc ordering and removes the risk of running out mid-despatch. The drivers are tape micron, width and roll length, whether it is printed, strapping width and grade, roll length and core size, and quantity. If you use automatic equipment, tell us the machine type - core size and grade must match it or the roll will not run.
