Sheets & Panels

Fiber Sheets (FRP) Supplier in Delhi NCR

Corrugated, plain and translucent FRP for shed roofing, warehouse daylighting, canopies and industrial covers — profile matched to your existing roof.

Rust free  |  Translucent grades  |  Profile matched

FRP — fibre reinforced plastic, also called GRP — is the workhorse roofing sheet: light, rust-proof, chemically tolerant and cheap enough to cover a large shed or godown. Its most common use in India is not covering a whole roof but replacing a few sheets with translucent panels to bring daylight into a warehouse and cut lighting bills. One thing to be clear on before ordering: FRP is not fibre cement sheet, despite both being called "fiber sheet" locally.

Types We Supply

Corrugated FRP

Profiled to match common metal and AC sheet pitches, so it fixes onto existing purlins with standard overlaps.

Plain / Flat FRP

Flat sheet for linings, partitions, cladding and fabricated covers.

Translucent FRP

Light-transmitting grades used as daylighting panels within an opaque roof.

FRP is not fibre cement. Both get called "fiber sheet" on site. FRP is a thin, light, flexible plastic sheet available translucent. Fibre cement is a heavy, rigid, opaque cement board. If you want daylight through the roof, you need FRP or polycarbonate. Say which you mean when enquiring and you will be quoted the right thing first time.

Matching an existing roof? Send a photo of the current sheet plus the crest-to-crest spacing and sheet depth. Profile mismatch is the single most common reason a replacement panel leaks at the overlap. Full comparison: polycarbonate vs fiber sheet roofing.

Installation Notes

  • Match the profile exactly so crests and overlaps align with the existing sheets and purlin spacing.
  • Fix at the crest, not the valley, with washered self-drilling screws so water does not sit on the fixing.
  • Oversize the holes to allow thermal movement; screwing hard through a tight hole cracks FRP.
  • Maintain adequate slope and correct end and side laps, following the profile's recommended overlap.
  • Do not walk directly on the sheets — use crawl boards spanning the purlins. This is a genuine safety point, not just a product one.

What Determines the Price of FRP fiber sheet

We do not publish a rate card for FRP fiber sheet, because a single per-sq-ft figure would be misleading — the same material can differ several-fold in price depending on the specification. These are the factors that actually move the number, so you can see where your own cost is going and where there is room to save:

  • Thickness — the main driver — thicker sheet costs more and lasts longer under footfall and hail
  • Translucent or opaque — translucent daylighting grades are usually priced above plain opaque sheet
  • Profile — standard profiles matching common metal sheets are the value option; unusual profiles may need a special run
  • Length — cut-to-length to suit purlin spacing avoids paying for wastage
  • Quantity — a few replacement daylight panels price differently per sq ft from a full shed roof
  • Fixings — washered self-drilling screws and any closure strips should be in the quote, not added later
Getting an accurate figure quickly: send the material, thickness, finished sizes and quantity, and say what the sheet has to do. That is enough to quote firmly. If you are still comparing options, ask us for the range across two or three specifications — it is usually cheaper to change the specification than to negotiate the price of the wrong one.

Supply Across Delhi NCR

We supply FRP fiber sheet from our locations in Noida (U.P.) and Faridabad (Haryana), delivering across Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, Delhi, Gurgaon and Ghaziabad. Cut-to-size orders can be collected from either location or delivered to site.

Two practical notes for delivery: full-size sheets need suitable vehicle access, and the usual constraint is not the sheet but the lift dimensions and staircase turns at the other end — tell us the floor and access when ordering. For site deliveries in a housing society or commercial complex, arrange gate entry and unloading help in advance, as large sheets need two people to handle safely.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an FRP fiber sheet?
FRP is fibre reinforced plastic, sometimes called GRP — a resin sheet reinforced with glass fibre, made flat or corrugated, in opaque and translucent grades. It is light, rust free, chemically tolerant and the economical choice for shed roofing and translucent daylighting panels in metal roofs. It is a different product entirely from fibre cement sheet.
Is FRP the same as fibre cement sheet?
No, and they are confused constantly. FRP is a thin, flexible, light glass-fibre reinforced plastic sheet, available translucent. Fibre cement is a rigid, heavy, opaque cement board. If you need daylight through the roof, you need FRP or polycarbonate, not fibre cement. Say which you mean so you are quoted correctly.
Should I use FRP or polycarbonate for roofing?
FRP is cheaper and fine for sheds, godowns, temporary structures and daylight strips within a metal roof. Polycarbonate costs more but is far more impact resistant and holds its light transmission much longer, making it better for a visible terrace cover, canopy or carport. FRP for functional industrial roofs on a budget; polycarbonate where the roof is seen and must last.
Can FRP sheets match my existing roof profile?
Usually yes, and it is the critical detail. Corrugated FRP is made in profiles matching common metal and AC sheet pitches, so a translucent panel drops into an existing roof on the same purlins with the same overlap. Send a photo of the existing sheet with the crest-to-crest measurement and sheet depth and we will confirm the profile before you order.
How much do FRP fiber sheet cost?
We quote per job rather than publishing a rate card, because the specification changes the price several-fold. The main drivers are material and grade, thickness, size and wastage, finish, and quantity. Send the material, thickness, finished sizes and quantity and we will quote firmly, usually the same working day. If you are comparing options, ask for the range across two or three specifications rather than one figure.
What is the minimum order quantity?
For stocked materials we can supply from a single cut piece upward, so there is no barrier to a small job. Non-stocked, imported or specially sourced grades usually carry a minimum set by the manufacturer, often a full sheet or a pack, plus a lead time. We will tell you the minimum and the lead time before you commit rather than after, and will say if a stocked alternative would do the same job sooner and cheaper.
Do you deliver to Noida, Faridabad, Gurgaon and Delhi?
Yes. We supply across Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, Delhi, Gurgaon and Ghaziabad from our Noida and Faridabad locations, and cut-to-size orders can also be collected. Full-size sheets need suitable vehicle access and two people to handle, and the usual constraint is the lift or staircase at the delivery end rather than the sheet itself, so tell us the floor and access when you order.

Need Daylight Panels or a Full Shed Roof?

Send the area, span, purlin spacing and a photo of the existing sheet. We'll match the profile, recommend translucent or opaque, and quote cut to length.

Thicknesses, profiles and properties described here are the options commonly available in the Indian market and are general guidance, not a stock list or quotation. Roofing installations must suit the structure, span, purlin spacing and local wind loading — confirm suitability and required overlaps for the specific profile supplied. Exact stocked profiles and sizes are given in the product datasheet.
