Industrial Plastic Sheets in Delhi NCR

HDPE, PP, ABS, PET, rigid PVC and engineering plastics — supplied full size, cut to size or as machined blanks.

Cut to size  |  Industrial & project supply  |  Noida & Faridabad

Industrial plastic is specified by polymer, not by appearance — and the wrong polymer fails in service rather than looking bad. A sheet that must resist acid, one that must survive impact at low temperature, and one that must be glued rather than welded are three different materials. This page is organised by polymer so you can go straight to the one your drawing calls for, or tell us the conditions and we will specify it.

Polymers We Supply

HDPE

Tough, chemically resistant, low friction, weldable. Cutting boards, tank linings, wear strips, chutes, marine and outdoor fittings.

PP (Polypropylene)

Stiffer than HDPE with better heat and acid resistance. Chemical tanks, fume ducting, hot-wash and laboratory environments.

ABS

Thermoforms and glues easily, good impact strength, takes paint well. Machine covers, vacuum-formed parts, prototypes, enclosures.

PET / PETG

Clear, tough and easy to form and cut cold without cracking. Guards, food-area glazing, formed displays.

Rigid PVC

Economical, flame retardant grades available, bonds with solvent cement. Tanks, ducting, partitions, industrial linings.

Nylon (PA)

Wear resistant and self-lubricating. Bushes, gears, guides, wear pads, machined components.

POM / Acetal

Dimensionally stable and easily machined to tight tolerance. Precision parts, rollers, bearings, cams.

UHMWPE & PTFE

Extreme wear resistance and very low friction. Liners, wear strips, chute linings, high-temperature sealing.

Specifications

PropertyCommonly Available Range
Thickness0.5 mm to 100 mm depending on polymer — thin sheet in ABS/PET, thick plate in HDPE, PP, nylon and POM
Sheet sizes1220 x 2440 mm (4x8 ft) is the common base size; larger and rod/plate formats available in engineering grades
ColoursNatural, white, black, grey, green; colour options vary by polymer
GradesGeneral industrial, UV-stabilised, flame retardant, food-contact certified — specify the requirement
FabricationSawing, CNC machining, drilling, turning, hot-air / extrusion welding, solvent bonding (polymer dependent)
SupplyFull sheets, cut to size, machined blanks

Ranges span the whole polymer family, so treat them as scoping guidance. Exact stocked polymers, thicknesses, sizes and certified grades are in the datasheet.

Where They Are Used

Tanks & liningsHDPE and PP for chemical storage, plating lines, effluent
Food processingCertified HDPE and PP for boards, guards and surfaces
Wear partsUHMWPE and nylon liners, chute linings, wear strips
Machined componentsPOM and nylon bushes, gears, rollers, guides
Machine guardsPET and polycarbonate where visibility is needed
Ducting & fumePP and PVC for corrosive extract systems
Vacuum formingABS and PETG for formed covers and housings
PartitionsRigid PVC for wet, corrosive or wash-down areas
PrototypingABS and acrylic for models, jigs and fixtures
Two specification traps worth avoiding. First, HDPE and PP cannot be reliably glued — if your design depends on adhesive, choose ABS, PVC or PET at the drawing stage rather than in the workshop. Second, "food grade" is a certified grade, not a polymer: ordinary industrial HDPE is not automatically food safe. State the application and we will supply the right grade.

What Determines the Price of industrial plastic sheet

We do not publish a rate card for industrial plastic sheet, because a single per-sq-ft figure would be misleading — the same material can differ several-fold in price depending on the specification. These are the factors that actually move the number, so you can see where your own cost is going and where there is room to save:

  • Polymer — by far the biggest factor — PTFE, POM and nylon cost multiples of commodity HDPE, PP and SBR-grade material
  • Thickness — priced largely by material volume, so thick plate rises steeply
  • Certified grade — food-contact, flame-retardant and UV-stabilised grades cost more than general industrial stock, and the certification is part of what you are paying for
  • Colour — natural and black are usually the value options; specific colours may carry a minimum quantity
  • Machining — sawn blanks are cheapest; turned, milled or drilled components are quoted as machining work
  • Quantity — sheet and plate volumes price very differently from single machined blanks
Getting an accurate figure quickly: send the material, thickness, finished sizes and quantity, and say what the sheet has to do. That is enough to quote firmly. If you are still comparing options, ask us for the range across two or three specifications — it is usually cheaper to change the specification than to negotiate the price of the wrong one.

Supply Across Delhi NCR

We supply industrial plastic sheet from our locations in Noida (U.P.) and Faridabad (Haryana), delivering across Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, Delhi, Gurgaon and Ghaziabad. Cut-to-size orders can be collected from either location or delivered to site.

Two practical notes for delivery: full-size sheets need suitable vehicle access, and the usual constraint is not the sheet but the lift dimensions and staircase turns at the other end — tell us the floor and access when ordering. For site deliveries in a housing society or commercial complex, arrange gate entry and unloading help in advance, as large sheets need two people to handle safely.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which plastic sheet is best for outdoor use?
HDPE and PP handle moisture and chemicals well but need a UV-stabilised grade for prolonged sun — unstabilised grades go chalky and brittle. ABS is a poor outdoor material as it degrades in sunlight. For outdoor sheet that must stay clear or take impact, polycarbonate is usually the better answer. Tell us the exposure so a UV-stabilised grade is supplied where needed.
What is the difference between HDPE and PP sheets?
Both are chemically resistant, weldable and food-capable in the right grades. HDPE is tougher at low temperature with better impact resistance — cutting boards, tank linings, wear surfaces. PP is stiffer, handles higher temperatures and resists a wider range of acids — chemical tanks, fume ducting, hot-wash environments.
Can plastic sheets be welded or glued?
Depends on the polymer, and this catches people out. HDPE, PP and UHMWPE have low surface energy and do not bond reliably with adhesives — they are hot-air or extrusion welded. ABS, PVC and acrylic bond well with solvent cement. If your fabrication depends on gluing, pick an adhesive-friendly polymer at specification stage.
Do you supply food-grade plastic sheets?
Food-contact suitability comes from the specific certified grade, not the polymer family — HDPE, PP and PET are the usual choices but must be the certified grade to be compliant. Tell us clearly it is a food-contact application and we will source the appropriate grade rather than a general industrial one. Do not assume any HDPE sheet is food safe.
How much do industrial plastic sheet cost?
We quote per job rather than publishing a rate card, because the specification changes the price several-fold. The main drivers are material and grade, thickness, size and wastage, finish, and quantity. Send the material, thickness, finished sizes and quantity and we will quote firmly, usually the same working day. If you are comparing options, ask for the range across two or three specifications rather than one figure.
What is the minimum order quantity?
For stocked materials we can supply from a single cut piece upward, so there is no barrier to a small job. Non-stocked, imported or specially sourced grades usually carry a minimum set by the manufacturer, often a full sheet or a pack, plus a lead time. We will tell you the minimum and the lead time before you commit rather than after, and will say if a stocked alternative would do the same job sooner and cheaper.
Do you deliver to Noida, Faridabad, Gurgaon and Delhi?
Yes. We supply across Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, Delhi, Gurgaon and Ghaziabad from our Noida and Faridabad locations, and cut-to-size orders can also be collected. Full-size sheets need suitable vehicle access and two people to handle, and the usual constraint is the lift or staircase at the delivery end rather than the sheet itself, so tell us the floor and access when you order.

Tell Us the Conditions, We'll Specify the Polymer

Chemical exposure, temperature, impact, wear, food contact, how it will be joined — send the requirement with sizes and quantity and we'll specify and quote it.

Polymer properties, thicknesses and size ranges described here are general engineering guidance for materials commonly available in the Indian market, not a stock list, quotation or design specification. Material selection for chemical, food-contact, fire-rated or load-bearing applications should be confirmed against the supplier's technical datasheet and the relevant certification for the specific grade supplied.
