What to Tell Us When You Enquire

Sourcing gets fast and accurate when we know these six things. Two minutes writing them out saves a day of back and forth:

What it has to do — the function, not just the material name
Where it goes — indoor, outdoor, wet area, industrial, food area
Size and thickness — or the finished dimensions you need cut
Quantity — one piece, ten sheets, or an ongoing supply
What it must survive — sun, water, heat, chemicals, impact, load, voltage
Any certification required — food contact, fire rating, electrical, ESD

Substitutes are worth asking about. A specially sourced sheet often carries a minimum order and a lead time, while a stocked material may do the same job today for less. We will tell you when that is the case rather than simply taking the order — and we will tell you the minimum quantity and lead time before you commit, not after.

What Determines the Price of specialist sheet

We do not publish a rate card for specialist sheet, because a single per-sq-ft figure would be misleading — the same material can differ several-fold in price depending on the specification. These are the factors that actually move the number, so you can see where your own cost is going and where there is room to save:

Stocked or sourced — the biggest factor — a stocked material can be cut today, while a sourced or imported sheet carries a minimum quantity and a lead time
Material — specialist and certified sheets sit well above commodity stock
Thickness and size — priced by material volume as with any sheet
Minimum quantity — non-stocked materials usually come in a full sheet or pack rather than a cut piece
Substitutes — a stocked material that does the same job is often materially cheaper — worth asking before committing to a special order

Getting an accurate figure quickly: send the material, thickness, finished sizes and quantity, and say what the sheet has to do. That is enough to quote firmly. If you are still comparing options, ask us for the range across two or three specifications — it is usually cheaper to change the specification than to negotiate the price of the wrong one.

We supply specialist sheet from our locations in Noida (U.P.) and Faridabad (Haryana), delivering across Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, Delhi, Gurgaon and Ghaziabad. Cut-to-size orders can be collected from either location or delivered to site.

Two practical notes for delivery: full-size sheets need suitable vehicle access, and the usual constraint is not the sheet but the lift dimensions and staircase turns at the other end — tell us the floor and access when ordering. For site deliveries in a housing society or commercial complex, arrange gate entry and unloading help in advance, as large sheets need two people to handle safely.

Can you source a sheet material that is not listed on your website?

Usually yes. Tell us what the sheet has to do rather than only what it is called — the same requirement is often met by several materials and one may already be in stock. Send size, thickness, quantity and the conditions it must survive (indoor/outdoor, wet, hot, chemical, load bearing) and we will confirm what we can supply and the likely lead time.

What is sunboard and how is it different from PVC foam board?

Sunboard is a very light, cheap foamed board used for printing, signage, exhibition panels and mounting. PVC foam board is denser and more rigid, holds screws far better and survives moisture and handling much longer, which is why it is used for cabinetry and permanent signage. Sunboard for short-life display work; PVC board for anything that must last or carry load.

Do you supply foam sheet and bubble sheet?

Yes, though those are packaging materials rather than construction sheets, so they sit under our packaging range — see the foam sheet and bubble sheet pages. If you need foam for a non-packaging purpose such as insulation, gasket backing or upholstery, tell us the application because a different grade and density will apply.

What is the minimum order for specialist sheets?

For stocked materials, from a single cut piece upward. For non-stocked or specially sourced sheets there is usually a minimum set by the manufacturer or importer — often a full sheet or a pack — with a lead time to match. We will tell you both before you commit, so you can decide whether a stocked substitute makes more sense.

How much do specialist sheet cost?

We quote per job rather than publishing a rate card, because the specification changes the price several-fold. The main drivers are material and grade, thickness, size and wastage, finish, and quantity. Send the material, thickness, finished sizes and quantity and we will quote firmly, usually the same working day. If you are comparing options, ask for the range across two or three specifications rather than one figure.

What is the minimum order quantity?

For stocked materials we can supply from a single cut piece upward, so there is no barrier to a small job. Non-stocked, imported or specially sourced grades usually carry a minimum set by the manufacturer, often a full sheet or a pack, plus a lead time. We will tell you the minimum and the lead time before you commit rather than after, and will say if a stocked alternative would do the same job sooner and cheaper.

Do you deliver to Noida, Faridabad, Gurgaon and Delhi?

Yes. We supply across Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, Delhi, Gurgaon and Ghaziabad from our Noida and Faridabad locations, and cut-to-size orders can also be collected. Full-size sheets need suitable vehicle access and two people to handle, and the usual constraint is the lift or staircase at the delivery end rather than the sheet itself, so tell us the floor and access when you order.
