Balcony & Terrace Artificial Grass in Delhi NCR
Turns an unused balcony into somewhere you actually sit — laid straight over the existing tiles in a few hours. The one thing that must be got right is where the water goes.
From ₹20/sq ft | No demolition | Rental-friendly installation available
The Three Applications
Apartment Balconies
The classic use. Cut to the exact shape of the balcony and laid over existing tiles — no drilling, no adhesive on the floor, and it comes up cleanly if you move. Usually done in a single visit.
Terrace & Outdoor Areas
Larger rooftop and terrace spaces. Fully exposed to sun and monsoon, so UV stabilisation and drainage planning both matter far more than on a covered balcony.
Decorative & Landscape Turf
Feature areas, planter surrounds, seating nooks and vertical green walls. Shorter pile, laid to a defined shape, often combined with planters and pebble borders.
Drainage: The Thing That Actually Matters
On a balcony that means damp, smell and mosquito breeding. On a terrace it is more serious: water standing against the waterproofing membrane for months is a leading cause of seepage into the flat below, and that repair costs many times what the grass cost.
Renting? Nothing Needs to Be Permanent
- No drilling and no adhesive on the tiles — accurate cutting does most of the work, since turf is heavy enough to lie flat on its own
- Double-sided tape at the joins only, where two pieces meet — not to the floor
- Weighted planters at the corners hold the edges down and look intentional
- Surface-laid trim to finish edges instead of a fixed profile
- Lifts out cleanly when you move, and can be re-cut for the next balcony
Tell us at the survey that it is a rented flat and we will plan it this way from the start.
Key Features
- Natural grass-like texture and appearance — best in multi-tone yarn with a thatch layer
- Weather resistant and UV stabilised — essential on an exposed balcony or terrace
- Low maintenance and easy to clean — hose down; no watering, mowing or fertiliser
- Safe for children and pets — softer than tile, no mud, nothing to dig up
- Suitable for balconies, terraces and patios — over tiles, concrete or a sound screed

Two Things to Check Before You Buy
Railing Height
Turf raises the floor by 20–30 mm, which lowers the effective height of your balcony railing by the same amount. Trivial for adults; worth measuring properly if small children will play out there.
Door Clearance
Check that the balcony door still swings clear over the new surface. Most do, but a door with a low threshold or an existing sliding track needs looking at before the turf is cut.
Summer Heat — The Honest Picture
Applications
Looking After It
- Hose it down every few weeks — Delhi dust is what dulls the colour, and a rinse restores it immediately
- Brush against the traffic direction occasionally to lift flattened fibres
- Sweep off leaves before they break down into the pile and hold moisture
- Lift it two or three times a year, wash the tiles beneath, and let both dry before laying it back
- Keep drain outlets clear — check them at the start of monsoon
- For pets, rinse regularly and use an enzyme cleaner rather than bleach
What Determines the Price
- Pile height — longer pile uses more yarn per square metre
- Face weight and density — the real quality difference, and what stops the backing showing through
- UV stabilisation — the spec worth paying for on an exposed balcony
- Colour blend — multi-tone with thatch costs more and looks far more convincing
- Balcony size and shape — small or irregular balconies waste proportionally more roll
- Trims and edging — optional, and surface-laid on rental installations
From ₹20 per sq ft — a genuine entry rate for economy turf, not a finished installed price. Balconies are among the cheapest installations we do, because there is almost no preparation involved.

Supply & Installation Across Delhi NCR
We supply and install balcony and terrace grass from Noida (U.P.) and Faridabad (Haryana), covering Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, Delhi, Gurgaon and Ghaziabad.
We check the drainage arrangement and the surface before quoting. On a terrace we will tell you plainly if we think the waterproofing needs attention first — covering a problem slab with turf hides it rather than solving it.

Pile heights, backings and fixing methods described here are the options commonly available in the Indian market and are general guidance, not a stock list or quotation. The ₹20 per sq ft figure is our published starting rate for economy turf and is not a finished installed price. Surface temperature in direct sunlight is materially higher than natural grass. Drainage arrangement, slab fall and the condition of terrace waterproofing can only be assessed on site and determine whether an installation is suitable.
