Entrance Mats in Delhi NCR

Coir, PVC noodle, rubber-backed carpet, aluminium modular and printed logo mats — the cheapest thing you can buy to protect an expensive floor.

From ₹20/sq ft  |  Standard & made to size  |  Logo mats available

Here is the thing most people get wrong about floors: foot traffic barely wears them. What wears them is the grit and water carried in on shoes, which acts like sandpaper underfoot. An entrance mat stops that at the door — which makes it, rupee for rupee, the most cost-effective floor protection you can buy. It only works, though, if it is long enough to actually dry a shoe.

The Rule Nobody Tells You: Length

It takes several steps to dry a shoe. A small mat at the threshold catches the first footfall and nothing else, which is why floors just inside a "matted" entrance still get dirty and wet. For a genuinely effective entrance, aim for enough matting that a person takes three or four steps on it before reaching your floor. In a busy commercial doorway that means a run of matting, not a mat. It costs more than a doormat and saves considerably more floor.

Types We Supply

PVC Noodle / Loop Mats

Open coil structure that lets water and mud fall through and sit below the walking surface. The standard answer for monsoon-exposed entrances and outside doors.

Coir & Coco Mats

Natural fibre with a coarse scraping surface. Excellent at removing dry mud, economical, and traditional at residential doors. Not for permanently wet locations.

Rubber-Backed Carpet Mats

Nylon or polypropylene pile on a backing. Absorbent, so they belong inside the door where the job is drying rather than scraping.

Rubber Scraper Mats

Studded, ringed or ribbed rubber for heavy scraping duty. Industrial entrances, service doors, sites.

Aluminium Modular Matting

Recessed or surface-mounted grille systems with replaceable inserts, for commercial lobbies and high-footfall entrances. Made to size.

Printed Logo Mats

Your name or logo at the door. Made to order with a minimum quantity and lead time — the cheapest branded touchpoint in a reception.

Two Zones, Two Different Mats

Professional entrances use two stages, because scraping and drying are different jobs:

ZoneJobUse
Outside the doorScrape off mud and shed waterPVC noodle, coir, rubber scraper
Inside the doorDry the shoe before it reaches your floorAbsorbent rubber-backed carpet mat, or modular matting with absorbent inserts

If you only have room for one, put the absorbent mat inside. Water on your floor causes more damage and more slip risk than dry mud does.

Careful with rubber-backed mats on vinyl and LVT floors. Chemicals in rubber and latex backings react with vinyl and leave a yellow-brown stain that is usually permanent and cannot be cleaned out. It is one of the most common complaints we hear from people with new vinyl floors. On vinyl, SPC or LVT, use a mat with a woven, felt or non-staining backing, and move mats occasionally rather than leaving them in one spot for years. More on this in our guide to cleaning and maintaining vinyl flooring.

Getting It Right

  • Check door swing and thickness. A thick mat inside a door that opens inward will catch on it. Measure the clearance before choosing a profile
  • Bevelled edges, not square. A mat with a raised square edge in a doorway is a trip hazard, and in a commercial building that is a real liability
  • Do not let a mat curl. Curled corners are the single most common cause of trips over matting. Replace a curling mat rather than living with it
  • Size it to the traffic, not the door. A wide entrance needs matting across the full opening, or people simply walk around it
  • Have a spare in monsoon. A saturated mat is worse than no mat, because it puts water back onto shoes. Rotate two so one can dry

Cleaning

  • Shake or vacuum regularly — a mat full of grit stops collecting grit and starts distributing it
  • PVC noodle and rubber mats can be hosed and left to drain; that is much of their appeal
  • Coir sheds fibres and does not like being soaked — brush and shake rather than wash
  • Carpet mats can be washed or shampooed depending on backing; check before soaking a rubber-backed mat
  • Lift and dry the floor underneath occasionally, especially on vinyl, where trapped damp under a mat causes discolouration

What Determines the Price of Entrance Mats

Our foot mat range starts from ₹20 per sq ft — a starting point rather than a finished price, since type and size move it substantially. The drivers:

  • Type and construction — the biggest factor. Coir and basic PVC are the value end; aluminium modular systems are several times more
  • Size — priced by area, and a proper commercial entrance run uses far more than a doormat
  • Thickness and backing — heavier duty and non-staining backings cost more
  • Logo printing — made to order with a minimum quantity and lead time
  • Recessed matwell systems — made to size, and the recess itself is building work
  • Quantity — multi-entrance and multi-site orders price better per mat
The honest maths: spending more on a longer entrance run is almost always cheaper than replacing the floor behind it early. If you have just installed vinyl, SPC or carpet tiles, the matting budget is not an accessory — it is what protects the investment you just made.

Supply Across Delhi NCR

We supply entrance mats and matting from Noida (U.P.) and Faridabad (Haryana), covering Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, Delhi, Gurgaon and Ghaziabad — offices, shops and showrooms, restaurants, clinics, schools, societies, hotels and factories.

Standard sizes ship quickly. Logo mats, made-to-size runs and modular matting carry a lead time, so order ahead of the monsoon rather than into it — that is when everyone discovers they need one.

Frequently Asked Questions

How big should an entrance mat be?
Bigger than most people buy. It takes several steps to dry a shoe, so aim for enough matting that someone takes three or four steps before reaching your floor - in a busy commercial doorway that means a run of matting rather than a single mat. It should also span the full width of the opening, or people simply walk around it and the mat does nothing.
Which entrance mat is best for monsoon?
A PVC noodle or loop mat outside the door, because its open coil structure lets water and mud fall through and sit below the walking surface rather than pooling on top. Then an absorbent rubber-backed carpet mat inside to dry the shoe. Also keep a spare - a saturated mat is worse than no mat, since it puts water back onto shoes, so rotate two and let one dry.
Can an entrance mat damage my vinyl floor?
A rubber or latex-backed mat can, yes. Chemicals in the backing react with vinyl and leave a yellow-brown stain that is usually permanent and cannot be cleaned out - one of the most common complaints from people with new vinyl floors. On vinyl, SPC or LVT choose a mat with a woven, felt or non-staining backing, and move mats occasionally rather than leaving them in one place for years.
What is the difference between coir and PVC mats?
Coir is natural fibre with a coarse scraping surface - excellent at removing dry mud, economical, traditional at residential doors, but it sheds fibres and does not like being permanently wet. PVC noodle or loop mats let water and mud drop through the structure, so they handle wet and monsoon-exposed entrances far better and can simply be hosed down. Coir for dry scraping, PVC for wet.
Do you make logo mats?
Yes, printed with your name or logo - the cheapest branded touchpoint in a reception or showroom entrance. Logo mats are made to order, so they carry a minimum quantity and a lead time rather than being available off the shelf. Send your artwork as a vector file if you have one, and tell us the finished size you need.
How much do entrance mats cost?
Our foot mat range starts from Rs.20 per sq ft, which is a starting point rather than a finished price. The main drivers are type and construction - coir and basic PVC at the value end, aluminium modular systems several times higher - then size, thickness and backing, any logo printing, and quantity. Send the doorway width and depth and we will quote what actually suits the traffic.
Do you deliver across Noida, Faridabad, Gurgaon and Delhi?
Yes, across Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, Delhi, Gurgaon and Ghaziabad from our Noida and Faridabad locations, for offices, shops, restaurants, clinics, schools, societies, hotels and factories. Standard sizes ship quickly; logo mats, made-to-size runs and modular matting carry a lead time, so order ahead of the monsoon rather than during it.

Protect the Floor You Just Paid For

Send the doorway width, how much depth you can give the matting, and what floor is behind it. We'll recommend the right type and backing — including a non-staining backing if you have vinyl.

Mat types, sizes, thicknesses and backing options described here are the options commonly available in the Indian market and are general guidance, not a stock list or quotation. The ₹20 per sq ft figure is our published starting rate for the foot mat range. Matting must be laid flat with bevelled or ramped edges and replaced if it curls, as raised or curled edges are a trip hazard.
